It was good fun, and curiously inspiring, Bob. I suppose that not only do we
want their wedding to succeed, despite all the pressures on them, but it's a
token of all the hopes we have for all young couples at the start of married
life. And whatever the miserable republicans say about a monarchy, we have a
pretty good bunch when you compare them with many presidencies around the
world.
I have finished uploading my selection of photos:
http://smu.gs/jeppuy
I took most of the shots with my K-5/55-300, but some with the E-PL2/20 or
14-42. I used RAW files from the Pentacchio, but had to use jpgs from the
E-PL2 (because Apple has not yet included those RAW files in the structure of
Aperture). The availability of cropped shots from the latter is more limited
because of the processing done in-camera and the results are a little
disappointing in some places. I suppose that I'm just proving that more mp/RAW
gives you more choice when the original framing is inadequate.
On the plus side, not only will Apple recognise the .ORF files in the near
future, but that the little Pen is much easier to snap away with in a crowd.
