Ah, I have the Zuiko 50-250 that has macro setting at 250mm to achieve
mag of 1:5.
The bokeh is very busy so I don't use it much (if ever) for that but it
is a nice travel zoom for landscapes even on OM 5DII.

Never have seen a pixel peeping contest to answer that. I would bet
the Tam 300/2.8 on extension wouldn't be shabby.
The working distance may be longer as don't many zooms decrease
effective FL to increase mag? I sometimes put the CV 180 apo lanthar
and an ext tube in my pocket (goes to 1:4 natively) and that works for
many circumstances. It is a nice travel lens.
