Sort of - I treated myself to a huge Sony Bravia HD telly which has a
couple of SCARTs, a couple of HMDIs, VGA and component video inputs. I
"justified" it by using it as a monitor for the PC which handles my
internet connection, which means, with the aid of software, it can
also be used as a picture frame/slideshow screen. I used the Huey
from my normal workhorse PC to do a one-off calibration for colour
consistency between the two, which seems to work OK. It can be used
as a monitor, but even with the large screen size, the resolution of
1920x1080 and viewing distance conspire against legibility Using
ctrl+ in firefox or chrome to make web page contents bigger is
essential.

Stand firm for what you believe in, until and unless logic and experience
prove you wrong. Remember: when the emperor looks naked, the emperor *is*
naked, the truth and a lie are not "sort-of the same thing" and there is
no aspect, no facet, no moment of life that can't be improved with pizza.
