Last night the weather wasn't promising, but I had to get out with my fast
telephoto and Majestic tripod to try and get something, since the moon is
closer than it's been for a while.
People flocked to the Lake michigan shore to have a look:

Soon after this it went into cloud, and while waiting to see if it might emerge
through an opening, I got a shot of an airliner:

The moon did show again, in hazy cloud:

Then it started to get cloudier, so I thought I'd head home, but as I was
loading my tripod in the car, I noticed this:
