Sinar/Bron had 5 or 6 of them for sale, with the auctions ending a few
minutes apart. Each succeeding auction ended in a higher price. My previous
experience has been that the first auction tends to end with the highest
price. I was hoping for an opportunity to get a bargain but it didn't
happen.
It seems odd that a large format view camera store would suddenly put that
many identical "demo" units up for sale. The one you linked to indicated
noticeable mount wear. I would expect it to be mounted to a board and never
be removed. The board would have a special mount attached to it rather than
just having the typical hole drilled in it.
$650 is at the low end of recent sales.
They are very nice lenses.
