Almost no extra work for me. A great deal of my processing uses saved Actions 
in PS, which create a new layer named for 
what it does. And most of it uses much the same functions/tools, so a glance at 
the layer tells me the broad story of 
what I've done. Putting a simple summary that into the image name is now second 
nature.
