And to push the issue just a little more...

I find that an ultra-nice camera body to be a distraction to the
creative process. For example, I choose not to use the OM-3Ti in some
circumstances because I know it will be subjected to danger of getting
usage marks. It's not that I baby it, but I have two other OM bodies
that are already rode hard, so I use them in those circumstances.

But if all of my cameras were museum pieces, I'd be afraid to use them at all.
