Don't do it, AG, without considering the effect on metering. Keep in mind
that you are replacing the central part of the ground glass with clear
glass. My strong suspicion is that my aftermarket replacement screen with
the central split image was the reason that my E-1 was so wildly
underexposing flash shots.
If that doesn't convince you, then you could persuade me to mic up an OM
screen and the said aftermarket screen. But it would be easier to persuade
me to send you the aftermarket screen for you to check for yourself - I
can't have you chopping up a 2-13 for such a quixotic cause.

Is the focus screen in the E-system the same thickness as the OM series
screen? Could I take a 2-13 screen and have it cut down to size and install
it in my E-1?
