I have one of these and I used it much more formerly when I lived on the
high side of a hill with great views.
I have used it mostly with the E-1. I found a tripod was essential.
I could pull in shots of snowy mountains 6 0 - 120 miles distant, provided the
light was right.
Yes, far images, even with very clear air, tend to be quite unsaturated with
this lens.
I also used it for bird shots. Tripod again.
