Amazon lists the LVF-1 at $159, almost the same... The real advantage of the
LCDVF is the higher resolution of the GF1's rear screen (460k vs. 202k

It's the opposite, really -- battery life is *longer* with the EVF, because
you can switch between the LCD and EVF, but never have both on at the same
time.

Neither is the LVF-1. And the shape of the GF1+LCDVF seems quite awkward
(read "difficult") to store in a bag.
Now, if only Panny would release a LVF-2 with 1.44 MP as seen on their other
EVILs...
