I suggested this to Olympus when they launched the E-PL1 about a year ago - to
the local CEO and their tech who was returning to japan after his tour of duty.
My argument was that it would be useful to be able to use a flash or the flash
shoe and the viewer in some circumstances, such as macro work. Seems like a
simple concept, a 30cm male to female cable to get the finder off camera.
