While experimenting on a rainy morning, I cobbled together my old Ross 200mm
and a 2X extender, and mounted them on the E-1 and a monopod. Even at ISO 800,
the shutter speeds were ridiculously slow. I concluded that a monopod is
little help in this situation. A tripod would have served me much better.
One image caught my eye because of the lateral motion allowed by the monopod,
giving somewhat of an abstract rendering of a Cardinal on the feeder.
