I know another lister sold his 50/3.5 only to experience severe regret
within a couple of years. He went to inordinate lengths to retrieve his lost
"precious" - if memory serves, he even had to resort to tales of what
elemental sodium could do if misused....
My lips are sealed, of course, but "you know who you are"..

Agreed! Not too long ago I sold mine to fund the PanaLeica purchase.
Although I feel as though I did get the better end of the deal, not having
the 50/3.5 is somewhat a shock to the system. It is simply a fabulous lens
and easily the best $75 lens out there.
