Doesn't surprise me. Many moons ago I was working at a small village, not
too far from home (170km - 106mi) but with winters nowhere as benign as I
(and Nathan) am used to... one night I deciuded to go outside in order to
take some pics of a Meteor Shower (Geminids, IIRC) with, among others, a
Ricoh GR-1 -- a deluxe P&S, with a nice T-setting for long exposures.
Well, I think it took a couple of frames, and the rest were just empty --
although the film did wound after each 'shot' with the usual noise, etc. It
seems that the leaf shutter couldn't open in such cold night...
Cheers,
