I can second this! Based on the advice of a list member here, I
purchased
one of these Konica hoods, and my, what a beautiful hood, it really
does look
and feel a lot better than Olympus' own (circular) hood for the 24/2.
Now that I've "switched" to the 21/2 instead of the 24/2, I somtimes
still
put this hood on the lens. I suspect I will get slight vignetting,
although
I've never actually *seen* vignetting with this combination, so it may
simply be academic. (*ducks as all the lens-hood-vignetting-aficionados
on the list cringe*).
Olympus' 35/50mm chromed metal hood is a thing of beauty (mine is
permanently
stuck to my 50/1.4), but the Konica is equally sublime for the 24mm.
