Well it sort of depends on how long at a time you'll be outdoors. If only
a few hours at a time your digital kit should be fine, just bring an extra
battery to keep in an inside pocket. If you are out in the elements a full
day at a time, or (shudder) days on end, I'd stick with your film kit
(OM-3Ti, 24, 35, 100) lots of hand warmers, big sleeping bag with 10 lbs
eider down, small tent, pot-bellied stove, half a cord of wood. I think
you're going to need a sleigh and maybe eight tiny reindeer. Don't for get
your Ho, Ho, Ho.
