Apple Kool-Aid yet.
Check out iWork. It does 99% of what I'd use MicroCrap for, at 1/6th the price
and about 4x the performance. Keynote is a stunning replacement for Micosloth
SourPoint. Pages does incredible things, incredibly easy, but stumbles on
translating some .DOC files from Microsloth Turd. Numbers is simply amazing in
improved usability over Microsloth Ex-Hell and reads Ex-Hell files pretty
well... but it doesn't do pivot tables. (If you don't know what a "pivot table"
is, you'll be fine with Numbers.)
There should be a new version of iWork out Any Day Now. Don't let that stop you
from downloading the free 30-day demo.
Oh. You didn't pay for your copy of Word that won't install? Sympathy--. :-)
