That's a really flaky set-up, compared to using Auto Bellows and slide copier.
Especially so for slides, with which this
thread started. You just drop a slide into the slot, shoot, pull out and repeat.
With strips of film, it's a little bit fussier, as you have to line up the
frame. If you use a little light box as I
did, there's no fussing with lights , as you use the same one to frame and
initial focus as to expose the shot.
With the bellows and copier solidly set up, focused and locked, a lens with
decent flatness of field and aperture set
for adequate DOF, you only need to focus once. With remote release, you can sit
convenient to the end where the film
changing is done.
The proposal at the link sounds like a nightmare for more than a few frames. by
comparison.
