I agree; our skies here in fine weather, with crystal-clear clarity, in my
opinion make for difficult photography. High-lights are too bright and
shadows are too dark, and full-on is too bland.
Change in weather ( for the better or the worse) often presents interesting
possibilities for landscape work. Of course it depends on *what* you are
trying to capture.
