Chuck, don't worry about the overexposures. That was a result of hefty
curves adjustment during RAW conversion. I've learned that with the
L1, you don't want to overexpose in-camera.
I wasn't aiming for perfection, just a collection of photos for him
and his wife to share with some friends. Perfection, it ain't. Didn't
even crop them.
Oh, my mistake--the blank I have requested is cedar. That's why the
many year drying process. That stuff splits and warps like crazy.
