Woa, we jumped from a taxpayer-funded elementary school to a corporate-funded
trade school in one fell swoop?
You didn't even READ what I wrote, did you?
I don't give a damn if someone wants to set up a privately-funded school. None
of my comments had ANYTHING to do with that, which you would know if you had
bothered to read them rather than simply firing off a knee-jerk response.
In this particular school's case, it is true that private corporate money BUILT
the school. But they also got a 30-year operating contract for public tax
funding of the school operation, guaranteeing them 9% return on investment over
that period. And then they sucker parents into volunteering their services.
Yea, EXACTLY like a "privately funded charter school" -- NOT!

Thank you for your contribution! (Which is clearly of the same substance you
claim to deride.)
