I've read, but don't intend on testing the theory, that high temperatures
(which the human body can withstand) destroy the venom of many poisonous
marine creatures. Makes some sense in that the ocean temperatures don't
change much so the venom wouldn't have to withstand high temperatures.

I understand why peeps have tubes in their ears. And I knew that the chance
of bacteria dying, before my cells get cooked is very slim too, but it would
be nice if it were true. My invention would actually serve a purpose...:)
