Yes, 150 line was the standard for quality work on coated art paper - like a
company prospectus with good BW photos. But you went higher for things like
fine art reproduction.
Quality broadsheet press used about 80-100 lpi screen, while the 'yellow'
tabloids might sink to as low as 60 lpi.
