Mine do too. It's a little irritating on non-sunny days (there is still enough
radiation to darken the lenses, but not enough light to warrant it), but
otherwise it is very comfortable not to have to change glass when there is
glare around.
And my optician checks for everything, I believe. It's a requirement by the
MOD, and they pay for the biennial checks -- at least they did before the
latest cuts in the Defence budget . . .
