Well that could certainly be a deal breaker. I knew there was an on going
drought (11 years) in the southwest but didn't realize the situation was so
bad.

GSMNP is a winner for me: Clingman's Dome, Cades Cove, Appalachian Trail,
Mt. LeCont, lots of campgrounds and PLENTY of water. And if we get bored a
night on the town in Gatlinburg. ;^)
