Yawn. Canon Pelix. Olympus E-20.
Beam-splitter viewing systems have been around a long time. Perhaps what makes
this one special is that the beam-splitter only feeds the focusing sensor,
rather than the viewing system. Still, any beam-splitter design is going to
give up about shooting sensitivity or have a dark viewfinder (or less-sensitive
focusing) -- or both.
And you still have a deep light-box, meaning retro-focus wide angle lenses.
I had an E-20. It was pretty cool in many ways. But it was tough to have a base
ASA of 64 instead of 100.
