I used the viewfinder. I haven't used the live-view much, except once for
photos of my foster grand-daughter when I had the camera sitting on my
knee and she was putting on her frequent dress-up act for the family, and I
didn't want to spoil it by being obvious with taking photos. It worked out very
well, as it happened.
