Are you serious? The Grouse Grind sounds like a mildly tough hike, 800 vertical
meters in 3 km, but if people can do it in jeans (one of the complaints in this
piece: http://islandadventurer.ca/blog/2010/08/the-grouse-grind/) and the best
runners do it in around 24 minutes, then it simply does not compare to riding
170 km with several mountain passes, some with gradients over 20%, in 30C+
heat. Sorry.
