Whoops! My Manfrotto head isn't close by but I just saw a photo of a
3047 head and that's not what I have. But I'll see what I can do with
this advice anyhow. I did put some wheel bearing grease on the shaft
once but that was many years ago. Maybe some cleaning and a lube
change. :-)
