I've eventually "catched up" with all the unread digests, and have some
replies awaiting to be posted soon... however, I felt I _had_ to reply this

You're right.
My advice is NOT to buy anything from him -- NEVER.
I have bought a lot of things from him back in the 'member446885' days...
but this "gentleman" owes me over 1000 EUR, for several lost INSURED
packages. I got tired of making claims without any result -- there was no
eBay/PayPal protection back then.
I don't know if there's bad intent, of if he simply can't manage his
business volume. In fact, I'm pretty sure that several of "my" lost items
were just forgot in his inventory... and resold again a few weeks later! I
think I purchased the same item twice...
