I agree--6V seems incredulous under-engineering. Dr. Trigger Voltage ,
Tim, could comment definitively.
Have used the viv 283 on a bracket with modifiers for directly on an
OM2 for many moons with no trouble--TV is 250 V.
Have triggered it with digicam using cheap yabe remote to avoid
circuit fry. Reasonably good quality light with exposure that pleases
the photog
is adequate. The number of clock cycles required to correctly (or
just as likely incorrectly) determine the quench signal doesn't alter
the results.
