We get rid of the paper wasps on and around the house, because they're
aggressive buggers that will attack just on proximity. We have the
wasp spray that shoots a long jet of insecticide for that. The
solitary wasps and hornets seem, so far, completely unaggressive to us
(though we have no lawn or mower to run over any nests. :) )
Cheers,
Marc
