This arrived for me this afternoon
<http://www.olympus.com.au/component/option,com_product/id,279/Itemid,69/task,spec/>
When mounted on the E-450, its the first time I've had the same feeling
that the OM Zuiko 35-80 f2.8 on a 4Ti gave me from a digital. Though
it will be living on my E1 were it feels a lot better balanced.
The E450 came from the bay, a broken 'special' but its now working,
until next time I pull it apart to find out what I did to make the flash
stop working. Sigh, its a real pig of a camera to fix but a good one
for the car glove box with the 25mm f2.8
The 12-60mm F2.8-4.0 SWD has a nice feel, and fast auto focus.
A lot better than the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 at first feel but will see
what its like during the week, now that I've finished the house packing
etc for open days I should have more time again.
Also noticed the 12-60mm has a lot less distortion at 12 than the Sigma
has at 18 but I'd expect something for the money !
Yep, so much for promising myself I would NOT buy anything
else and just spend time with the guitars until we moved !
Due to the weather I have a lot of photos of the pets, and the
outside world from the windows as well as inside photos to
remember the house by.
Cheers
Ian Manners
DIRECT SALES ONLY = Factory had a big argument with distributor.
