I'm forever telling myself to always have a camera with me. But I don't take
orders very well.
I'm pretty good, but on a trip to the bathrooms by flashlight in the dark, I
slipped. I didn't even see it, but Carol
had me stop and turn the flashlight on what I had just missed stepping on - a
Rocky Mountain Rubber Boa.
By the time I returned with camera, it had slithered off.
The next day, I did get this consolation prize on the same path.
