My 4000ED with Nikonscan gives different results, both no ICE: Kodachrome with "Positive" setting: http://www.accura.com.hk/temp/KP-01.jpg same slide with "Kodachrome" setting: http://www.accura.com.hk/temp/KK-01.jpg BTW, VueScan seems not as accurate as Nikonscan in color reproduction for all types of slides I tried so I always stick with Nikonscan for slides. But for negatives, I always use VueScan as I like the ability to set the "Color balance" to "None", which gives consistant results for the same roll of film and it is easier for post adjustment.
