It is a nice catch. She focused on the mud splash and caught the onlookers
in the background who are nicely out of focus. Lots of opportunity around
here for a shot like that. There are plenty of informal "clubs" of
four-wheelers who raise and soup up Jeeps, PUPS and SUVs then spend a
saturday racing through a very deep hole, sometimes 4-6 feet deep, filled
with thick muddy water. The object is just to make it through the pit and
most don't. And yes, he said sheepishly, I have done this when I was in my
20's with my 1979 Jeep CJ-5 with the Laker Pipes and big knobby tires. Also
helps to have a blond girlfriend in cutoff jeans and bikini top and lots of
PBR in the cooler.
