I've been tempted to build an octopus lighting rig. By using a single
flash, like the T45, I have these fiber-optic twisty things attached
to the flash which I can quide and direct the light anywhere I want
around the subject for macro photography. By placing a diffuser head
on the end of the twisty thing I avoid pinpoint lighting.
