Hi Ian,
Since I wrote that note, I have, using a tripod, used Live View with the 510
and 35 Macro. I placed a 1951 badge photo on a counter top and manually
focused the 35/3.5 Macro to get a sharp image, using the 10x magnifier. The
resulting digital image came out fine.
