I think these are brilliant. You have achieved a painterly look that usually
eludes photographers. Composition not too bad either.
I think you could well use either technique with the same background
treatment technique, and be more deliberate / contrived with the
composition of the "in focus" part as well as the very important flowers /
whatever that are not in focus but are an important element of the
composition.
