Well, there are silvernose and black nose versions. Don't know about
optical or mechanical changes, though.
When I was looking to acquire one, I too had a hard time finding info
on this lens. Not that there is really a lack of information on it,
but nobody's talking about it. It's a shame, it really is a fine
lens, but I think it often gets overlooked in favor of the 21/2, or
cheaper offerings such as the 24/2.8 or 28/2.
