"The machine" did indeed provide an alternate idea, but various
alternatives are available. In fact, thanks for providing me with a nice
bit of fun. This image simply invites play. Here are a few of the
alternates I tried.

The first alternate is simply pulling the center slider of Levels to the
right. High key can easily become "normal". The rest build on each other.
