We do had locus's in WA, those with all the other insects is why we use
flywire over the air intakes and the radiators on cars and trucks here.
When it gets to bad on the windscreens you use newspaper to
scrap and clean so you can see out again. There are also
wire mesh windscreen protectors, though I never bothered with
them myself. I also suspect they might be illegal now.
Anyone that has done bush or driving though central WA
normally always packs a large container of water, a towel,
toilet paper, geo pick, shovel, newspapers, and a trowel.
