My comment was based on the fact that he would not be able to use the
rangefinder for focusing because there is no cam to engage the rangefinder.
Yes, I would agree that, with wide angle lenses and using zone focusing, the
lenses would probably work. I have not tried that approach, though I have a
couple of Leica rangefinder film cameras.
Having never used Olympus glass except for the excellent ZD 14-54, I will
not get into the comparison of Oly and Leica glass. I find Leica glass to
be excellent, having used it since 1952, and have no reason to change. I
suspect, from images that I have seen, that Oly glass might perform the same
way.
