I think we overlooked something in mike's post. He's going to be
shooting 50% film. Having a decent of nd grads is a requirement. BTW,
I'm not a fan of cokin filters in this case because they have a
non-linear color shift. Mr Ken rockwell has a nice writeup on nd grads
and I fully agree with his recommendations. Like me, he's a little off
his rocker, but in this case he's dead on.

Thanks for commenting. Yes the 4T and 2 or 2N will see significant use
on this trip.
I trust you endorsing his general use of the ND grads but not clear
as to his choice of technique.
He only uses the screw -on MC variant with the transition dead center.
Do you recommend that? The Singh ray resin Cokin P ones seem to
enjoy a good reputation with no color cast.
