Here is a shot of part of a large group of starlings that invaded my
front yard. I didn't know what to call it, just called it a swarm. LOL
I do agree that it is amazing when the all come in to land at one time.
We have a pair that nest in the soffit area under the eaves of the
roof. They have pecked a hole in the fascia board and built a nest in
there. Had one plugged a couple of years ago and they have made another
one. The young should be about ready to fly. They have been carrying
worms in there for a while. The crows will probably get some of them.
