I'd recommend going a little farther north past Willipa Bay then head
over to I5 via hwy12>>8. More direct and also scenic. Also Cape
Disappointment and the Long Beach peninsula might be worth a look,
especially if you are interested in the Lewis & Clark expedition. The
Long Beach area is just about to get slammed by an unusually strong for
this time of year storm. In WA the most spectacular sections of the
whole coast are accessible only on foot, no trail except the beach at
low tide.
