A long time since I posted some images.
Still working on the images from the study trip, but today I made a
good day out with our scouting twins on the family day.
I took the 55 with me to just get a new feel for the lens. It had been
to long I neglected it in favor of the 50 f1.4.
Two observations:
It still has a very nice swirley bokeh @ 1.2 and a bit at f2.
The lens is sharp from f2 and very sharp from f2.8 onwards.
Three: I'm coming into gripes with the 5D. Still learning that camera,
but these 12 MP are of very fine quality. I just don't like the
"digital noise" it produces all that much (the 5MP of the E-1 still
are the benchmark for me in this regard). But at base iso that is not
really a problem. The colours i get from it are getting better as well
(but that might be because of the sun as well :).

enjoy the scouting :)
