Chuck,
The local repairman, who is highly qualified (he's one of the few
independant Nikon warranty stations left) and has worked on all my
Hasselblads and my OM1's, but is wise enough to know not to work on OM2s and
4's, says that all Miranda cameras will have major problems soon if not
sooner. He has seen everything, and cautions buyers.
My father had a pony 828. He shot mainly slides, which while larger than
35mm, could be loaded in the same projecter (what a great film format!), and
looked fantastic! I don't know if the lens was thatgood, or if it was the
real estate, but they were really good. Dont know about the 135 version,
though.
