Hi Tom,
My favourite of the lot is R-11
I like the minimalism, the absence of any colour
except for red, and the careful composition.
The colour on R-17
(http://www.pbase.com/tom_77/image/123637448)
is just great. The composition also draws an
interesting fine balance between minimalist
and chaotic.
What lens did you use for these shots? I ask because, usually
a bit of linear distortion doesn't bother me, but in these
carefully-composed images with the straight lines (i.e. R-11),
I seem to notice the barrel distortion more than usual, and would
probably have applied a bit of correction in post-processing.
P.S. I would probably be quite interested in your 50/1.2,
looking forward to seeing it, and its price.
all the best,
Dawid
