2CR5 batteries are nominally primary lithium (non-rechargeble) 6 volt
batteries. But there are lithium-ion rechargeable versions available
also advertised at 6 volts. Since lithium-ion chemistry normally
produces a 3.6 volt cell and our DSLR batteries are usually two of these
producing 7.2 volts how is it that the 2CR5 produces only 6 volts? Does
it have an internal voltage regulator?
